Hypo?

I have had a lot of symptoms of hypothyroidism: no period, no energy, fatigue, excessive weight gain, etc. I had blood work done at my GYN and he said everything is normal and left it at that. Well I went to my primary and he thinks I do have an endocrine problem. Here are my numbers, please tell me what you think: TSH 3.74, THYROXINE (T4) 8.1, T3 UPTAKE 22L, FREE THYROXINE INDEX 1.8, FREE TESTOSTERONE 2.8H

You TSH is looking Hmmm. I would expect that the Dr. would look into antibodies.
I know that with your TSH and if antibodies are present... the Dr. in the other forum would treat this. That said and like he says, that's debatable amongst endocrinologist.

Your Testosterone: if it isn't crazy high, they would consider the ovaries first (PCOS) and if I have this right, if it is over what would be common in PCOS- the  Dr. would look into the adrenals.
I think your primary doctor is thinking...more like a doctor should. It certainly is worth further investigation!

Best,
