Hypothyroid Question
Hello, I recently went to my GYN and after some discussion she had a TSH, Free T4, full Metabolic Paneltest taken, and Lipid Panel with LDL/HDL ratio drawn.
My results are:
TSH 4.455
and Free T4 0.81
My good cholesterol is very good but my bad is slightly elevated as well.
She was concerned because of my other complaints (extremely tired, week, brittle nails, and a horrible horrible memory (feels like I am loosing my train of thought on a regular basis) as well as my cholesterol being elevated but not enough for medication. She feels I could benefit from a low dose thyroid medication. I feel she is right but would like the input from here.

I agree also. Next time ask for free T3 along with FT4 and TSH. It correlates with symptoms better than the other two..
