Does synthroid cause you to cry for no reason?

Does Synthroid or the generic cause you to cry for no reason/ Also do you have breakthru bleeding for no reason? My OB/Gyn says it has nothing to do with it, but I didn't have this problem until i started taking the 125mcg. of synthroid.

Thanks, they adjusted my thyroid med. about a month ago, that is prob. why I cry for no reason.How has your weight been? Ups and downs?

Hi, I have had hypothyroidism for 22 years now and have been on synthroid (levythyroxin).  I have experienced my ups and downs while medication adjustments.  One thing I experienced in the past was constant crying for no reason.  At that time when I saw the doctor he had my blood tested and I was hyperthyroid which simply means he had to lower my synthroids a bit.  He did that and then I was just fine.  About your breakthru bleeding...mmmmm... don't quite kow what that is and I don't think it ever happened to me...
