Going off meds

Hello all.  I am new to the community (newly diagnosed with Hashi's a year ago).  I've been on 37.5 mcg for a few months, (up from 25 mcg before that) but am having major side effects.  I cannot go in the sun, even in winter with sunblock on.  My dr. wants me to quit the synthroid to see if that is what's causing it.  I'm hoping it is the meds.  He wants me off of it for 6-8 weeks to see if the photosensitivity goes away.  Has anyone had this side effect from synthroid?  Has anyone had it from Armour?  I really feel woozy already after just a few days off synthroid (foggy and more fatigued).  Just looking for info. or support from anyone who may have had a similar experience.
