Info From Thyca Website on Thyca Awareness Month

DLA
I e-mailed them today to try and find the packet that Pam was talking about.  Was confused and couldn't figure it out myself, as usual.  bluh  And we had been talking about sending info to the media to try and get them to cover Thyca Awareness Month in Sept.  So this is the e-mail they sent back to me.  Thought I would share it with you all.

Dear Dac,

Thank you so much for your wonderful offer to get the Thyroid Cancer
Awareness message out through MedHelp.org.

We will have our press release ready very soon, and I will send you
an advance copy before it's on our web site.

We also have free downloadable publications in our Raise Awareness
page on our web site, linked from the left side of the Home Page.
These are great for posting on bulletin boards or giving to friends
and relatives.

We greatly appreciate your wonderful support, and wish you all the
best with your Graves' Disease and your overall health.

Many thanks again.
Best regards,

I don't see why you couldn't.  That would just mean you're supporting all your buddies out here that HAVE had it.  I'm unaware of any "rules", though.
Glad to see you back!!!

I don't know the color for the bracelets, I didn't look at them, and since I didn't have cancer never have.  Actually was going to look into them and the regular thyroid bracelets and forgot to.  Brain fog has turned into brain f@rt!!

Glad you are doing okay.  Watch how much you do so you don't over do it.  That can also bring on thyroid storm.  Not trying to scare you to death, just want you to be very careful and take good care of yourself.  Thyroid storms are VERY scary.  Had more than my fair share of them with Graves.

Did you find the website?

Doin' okay, I guess.  Insurance denied my appeal for the adrenal test, so don't know what's going to happen now.  She knows I have low cortisol, but said you can't measure accurately with the cortrosyn test.  I don't have the money to pay for it out of pocket so don't kow what I'll do.  Leave it up to God.  That's all I can do.  Will trust He'll take care of it for me.

Thank you for asking.  Hope all goes well post-op.

Thank you.  How are you doing now?  Hope you're feeling better.

Been reading everything that is going on, but honestly I feel like my brain fog has come back 10 fold, so I can't remember as much of what I've read.  Think it is probably sleep deprivation and suffering from total exhaustion.  Think they'd let me go in the hospital to get over that like some big celebrity?  LOL  I'm too behind to be exhausted.  :{

God bless you,
