Holistic Dr Visit Yesterday

So I saw my Holistc Doc yesterday... The Saliva tests were not in yet for the adrenals!! UGH! BUT, she is going to watch me very closely with the Armour and my upping and symptoms. I told her about my ER visit and she said she was just in AWE yet not suprised either because she was a teaching ER Physician back in her day and to think that someone can come to the ER and these Drs have no clue what sort of idea these meds are... she said just ignorant!!! So I am low in my Vitamin D and iron is low. She wants to work on my vertigo as well. We started some therapy yesterday and she gave me some exercises to come home with.. She did not redraw the labs... She said lets see how I do on the upped dose of the Armour for 7-10 days and go from there. She wants me to up every two weeks..slowly. I told her I had palps at times and she said we will work on that as well. Wants to see where the saliva tests are before doing so. All and all... it was a good visit and I feell very confident in her treatment. She said if I ever feel again that I need to go to the ER.. call her first. So I see her in 2 weeks.

Another place (although it's a bit of a drive for you) would be Woodlands Healing Research Center.  They're in Quakertown.  They know how to use Armour, have several doctors on staff, and (added bonus) they take insurance.

Dr Buttram was my old doc there, but retired last year.  Too bad, because he was such a sweetie and was pretty darned sharp.  Of the other drs there, I'd recommend either Dr Kracht or Dr Schmidt.  I saw Dr Kelley and wasn't all that thrilled with her.  The other two were really good tho.

One possibility is in Stockton NJ which is about 10 minutes north of Lambertville - Stockton Family Practice.  I know that they use Armour thyroid.  Sorry I don't have phone number with me.

hi, i am glad you found a caring practitioner. i am looking for someone also in new jersey. anyone know of a good holistic practioner in central jersy. please forward;  i am very interested in switching to  armour. on synthroid for three weeks.125 mcg. presently. i have read saliva is the way to go; hope things get better. let us know how your results go.
