Meditation to relieve stress

Sit outside with your feet firmly on the ground. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and count from 10 exhaling with each count. Do this untill all thoughts have left your brain.Relax each part of your baody starting with your toes and work your way to your head.Now envision a  golden light surrounding you and taking away all the days stress,Then feel the earth energy thorugh your feet replacing the stress with a calming energy. Open your eyes and you will feel calm,relaxed and invgorated at the same time.

i light candles inside and I imagine the earth energy under the house  coming up thorugh my feet .I like to do this at night before bedtime.Of course you can do it anywhere and anytime especially if you are stressed I have even done this at work.The more you do this the faster you will get to the relaxed state.At night I also pray since the meditation gets reid of all the negative thinking and brings me closer to deity.

What time of day do you do this?  Over east of ya hear it's in the 90's with about 180% humidity!  Hard to relax when you got sweat pouring from everywhere. =)  I think instead of golden light I would have to concentrate on air conditoining surrounding me! ;)  Can you do this indoors and pretend it's the earth below your feet?

Just funnin' ya, but man is it ever hot here!
