Try and stay positive and just what your are doing, taking it day by day. I just turned 42 in Nov. I was DX in Sept. 2008 had my TT on 2/18/09 and now will be doing the RAI on 4/3/09.
I know that it is hard to stay positive some days. I am going through the pre-RAI hypohell and just feel like the life is being sucked out of me some days. Today I felt better but I looked a lot worse (Big dark bags under my eyes). I just keep telling myself that this is what I have to go through for now so I can be better later.
My best wishes to you..hang in there.
Hi, I'm just about to have surgery myself in a few days. I've never had anything taken out of me and I'm 44. Well except my daughter.... : ) I was quite willing to let her come into the world. So I too am taking things a day at a time. So...how are you doing?
