If its Thy CA do xrays put me at greater risk
I'm just wondering if anyone can answer this I don't see the endo until thurs. and he probaly will be doing a biopsy, but I'm scheduled for a Mammogram tommorow, can getting xrays do anything? If anyone has any info I would like to hear from you

getting a routine xray will not increase your risk for thyroid ca. It takes multiple exposures to multiple xrays to expose you to enough radiation to cause any trouble. It would take lots and lots of xrays. A radiologist friend told me the numbers once but I don't remember them at the moment but you should be fine. Hope this helps!
