scan and blood work
So if my blood work says hyperthroid how can my scan show underactive? This is confusing..
No meds. scan showed no upate with idodine no hot or cold nodules just not working.
Doc ordered more blood work for all the antibodies of thyroid today. He is also talking with another doc who is an internist they are thinking its subucate thyroiditis or hashi's which the antibodies will show. I go see endo tomorrow morning.

If you are on medication, you could be over medicated, which would cause your blood work to indicate hyperthyroid. If you aren't on medication, it's possible that your thyroid is "spurting" hormones; or if you have nodules they could be producing hormones independently of the thyroid.
