MedHelp Closing

Hello Everyone

I think, by now, most people know that MedHelp is closing.  I know some pages have banners that say so but they aren't all real obvious if you aren't looking for them.  Unfortunately, I thought the banners were on all pages, but only recently found out they're not on our forum pages - just on the profile, message, tracker and a few other pages.  Shame on me!!

Anyway, for those that don't know, the site will be closing on May 31, 2024.   After that, it will be read-only for a short time, then it will become completely unavailable.  If you have PM's, photos or anything you want to save, now is the time to do that.

Emily, Community Manager, has set up a separate forum on which you can ask any questions you might have.  You can also find out how you can obtain copies of tracker data that you might want to keep.  The link to that forum is:  https://www.medhelp.org/posts/MedHelp-Closure/MedHelp-Closing/show/3080219

I've been the Community Leader of this forum since 2011 and will continue to be here until the site closes.  I think our trusted member, gimel, will also be here, so now is the time to ask your thyroid questions!!  I haven't found a new patient site to frequent, but if I find one before this site closes, I'll let you know!!

Wishing everyone the very best in your thyroid journey and I'm sorry we can't be here to help see you through it.

Barb

Hi Jackie... Haven't seen you around for a while, but I'm glad you stopped by in time to say goodbye to us.    Many of us know it's not easy dealing with a thyroid disorder and everything that can go along with it.  It's always nice to know that we were able to help someone.  I appreciate you letting us know.

Take care and make sure you advocate for yourself, always.  Good luck on the rest of your journey.  :-)
Hi Barb, Gimel, and everyone else,

I am deeply saddened to see this extraordinary and very helpful forum close.  Thank you to all for your kindness, education, and support over the years.  You have made a difference in the lives of so  many thyroid sufferers.  Is it possible to start a separate listserv for those who might be interested in continuing this forum?   Again, thank you.
