Low levels of free t4 and free t3 would point towards hypo. Your TSH is normal. For some the TSH does not always show the condition. I know for me, my TSH did not elevate above the 5.5 until I had almost every hypo symptom. The free t4 and free t3 show the actual amounts of T4 and T3 available for the body to use.
From those symptoms, i only have ibs with consitpation(but i have severe leaky gut), dry skin, i have ridged fingernails but i have moons on them, brain fog, sensitivity to lights, decreased sex drive.
So low levels would point to hypo and not hyper?
Your free levels are on the low side. Are you having any thyroid symptoms? Symptoms of hypothyroidism can include; weight gain, difficulty losing weight, IBS with constipation, dry skin, dry thinning hair, outer portion of eyebrow gone, ridged fingernails with no moons on fingers, brain fog, fatigue, mood changes, depression, high cholesterol, low blood pressure, slow pulse, headaches, sensitivity to light, decreased sex drive, menstrual changes,
I am not on any meds right now.
I have other auto-immune diseases so its hard to say if i feel bad cause of my thyroid or because of celiac and chrons and few other things. I do suffer from high anxiety tho, so im not sure if that is from my thyroid or not.
I just didnt know if i needed to worry cause the numbers are so low.
thank you
the question is how do you feel?? I feel great when my tsh is 0.5 to 1.0.... it is fine if you feel good and are symptom free!
Hi there....Are you on any thyroid meds at this time?
