How did the excisions go? Thinking of you ................... C~
PS: I called today regarding my stitch abscess .. it was oozing again today (pus) so figured I better call and of course he said I have to come in .. he cannot treat over the phone ... ACK .... 4 kids is tough to get in .... I promised to come in tomorrow if still infected ..... what luck I have :( .. I think it looks better than yesterday and not as red/sore but it is all situated around the stitch bundle and a definite suture abscess but not serious .. more ***pesky*** but don't want it to spread either.

I think that is what they meant by mine being "clear" ..I think it was atypical thru and thru and "clear to the margin" .. not cancer but atypical = precancerous. All my other big re-excisions have come back that way for me .. never "normal" ...so you got GREAT news except for the stitches and infections .. YIKES ... are we twins?

The excisions went good. They decided only to do 2 today...one below right boob and one on left upper arm. The one on low abdomen they are going to watch for now and the one on left shoulder looks fine now, so maybe the white spot was just pimple or something. They are still numb, so we'll see.
All three of my excisions from two weeks ago were infected and it was determined that I am allergic to all adhesives except the one for elderly patients and I am also allergic to the nylon stitches! Yikes!
Oh yeah, and the doctor went over the biopsy results: 2 on leg 100% normal. 1 on left lower back was what they consider precancerous, but nothing to worry about now b/c it's completely gone.
You should try to get in to get that looked at ASAP. They should just be able to look and give you a Rx. I am now on a 10-day run of antibiotics for mine. Then I will be back on the 9th to get these stitches taken out...also 5 in both of these...I should here in about a week about biopsy results!
