Pain in thyroid

I have pain in my thyroid. What usually causes this??

You could have autoimmune disease !

It could be inflammation (thyroiditis). it could be an autoimmune disease, it could be hashimotos or Graves, it could be nodules.
It could be anything.
Get your Free T3 and Free T4 and TSH done along with antibody testing.
Normally pain in the thyroid warrants an ultrasound...ask if this can be arranged too.

I have hoshimotos. Pain is not normal for me.

Oh yeah, I did call my doc. They never call me back. Sometimes I just want to quit my job, go to med school, and become my own specialist!!!!
