thyroid treatment

I was borderline on hypothyroid test.  I had ALL the syptoms-ESPECIALLY foggy head and unclear thought, I have been on on treatment for 2-3 months.  My weight is going up up up!!  Is that normal?  I am exercising more and more and weight is skyrocketing??

Weight gain is one of the hypo symptoms. you may need another blood test to see where your thyroid level is after 2-3 months treatment.  foggy head ,unclear thoughts are all gone, you may be in the right range already. Weight problem is very hard to deal. I suggest you get your thyroid level in the normal (prefer upper half) range first than worry about your weight. Yes supplement is synthroid.

My foggy head and unclear thoughts seem to be much better it is the weight that is AWFUL!!!  Is that what you are refering to??  That increasing supplements woudl help??  By supplements do you mean synthroid??

You need talk to your doctor quick. If you have all the HYPO symptoms, it is not normal. Talk to you rdoctor and you may want to increase your supplements to get yourself to the upper half of the normal range, and see if that eliminates all or some of your symptoms. Good luck.
