Hey jenn, I was just thinking you should start a new thread, so those that are knowledgeable will see it and be able to help you, I don't know if they will check my thread under tremmers. from what i learned about my thryoid on this forem i'd say you are very low,  I don't know why doctors don't realize the importance of this hormone, especially since your having all these syptoms, good luck deb

they are diffenetly related to not having enough thyroid hormone in your system, have you had your Ft3 Ft4 and TSH tested? if yes. if you post them then those on this forum can let you know what you should do. If you are low enough on your thyroid hormone to get tremmers you must be having other side effects, what other hypo symptoms are you having?

I'm currently not on any treatment. My thyroid fluctuates all the time, so the two endocrinologists I've seen so far don't want to medicate me. Also, my symptoms come and go. The tremors actually went away for A MONTH for the first time in years :D and now they're back :(.

My tremors feel like moving bubbles or things crawling under my skin.

I don't understand Jen the only treatment for autoimmune thyroiditis or hashimotos is thyroid hormones or so I have been told by endocrinologists ? Do you have any treatment? The inner tremors are from the top of my head to my toes sometimes it's like a bad case of the shakes and other times like a continuous electric current going through my body , horrid!!!

I have autoimmune thyroiditis and I'm not on thyroid medication and I get these tremors/twitches/spasms too. I get them everywhere and they can be so annoying. I never had this problem before my thyroid issues, so they're probably related somehow.

Well I have nothing to complain about, we have no snow thankgoodnes, as for the cold it is cold, last night the wind just blew all night and this morning it was about 11 also, we are suppose to stay cold till Wed and then it should warm up to around 30 which will feel like summer, can't wait. i'm afraid if this would continue we will run out of wood for winter, because  it isn't even winter yet, Well stay warm and try to enjoy the snow,

Well I feel really glad I don't have them anylonger, that doesn't mean it won't come back, very interesting has to do with the nerves, makes since lack of thyroid hormone does so much to our body, and the hormones do so much for our body. Its amazing how many people are suffering due to lack of knowledge of the thyroid. Sorry to hear you still have them, thanks for the info.

14-16" over the last two days and -11º last night.  I'm already tired of winter, and it hasn't even officially started yet.

"It is a direct effect of a thyroid disease on the nerves and sufferers often come across as neurotic " this was taken from a book written by an endocrinologist !!i have had them for 19 years sometimes very bad other times way down but always there.

I had them too. They went away for awhile when I started on Synthyroid. Now they're back occassionally. Think I need my meds increased.

I haven't experienced this myself, but I have heard quite a few people talk about an inner tremor or a kind of a "vibe" (vibration).

How's this storm treating you in Okanogan?
