Slurred speech after RAI

I was diagnosed with graves disease had RAI treatment and felt great.
I havent been able to afford to pay my copays and keep seeing my doctor on a regular basis and now I am starting to have some weird prolems.
If i move the wrong way my muscles are cramping up and my whole calf muscle will spasm during the night.
I have also started sounding like I am drunk when I am talking slurring my speech.I also feel like my brain has slowed down. I know it sounds weird but I feel like im running on slow motion. Do you think this is related to my thyroid?

If you have Graves and had RAI are you on Synthroid or a replacement hormone yet?  You sound severely hypothyroid to me.  When you are very hypo my doctor described it as living your life under water or like living your life with a lead vest on.  Being severely hypothyroid affects your whole body even your thought processes. (foggy thinking)  at the very least you need blood work done.  when did you  have the RAI?

I am not sure but you MUST see a Dr and don't worry about the money.  You could be having serious issues unrelated to thyroid and need immediate medical attn.  Symptoms like that (not to scare you) can be stroke related or blood clot.  Please seek medical attention.

It might be calcium too low which can cause the calf muscles ... but I do not know about the speech part .. however, you need TSH bloodwork done to determine if you are too hypo or too hyper .. both can be very very bad stuff to deal with if left untreated.  It also can be too little magnesium but you need to see a Dr to determine it in my opinion.
