Is synthroid dosage based solely on body weight or on TSH?
I ask because I wonder what dose I will need to get a TSH of 40 down to 2 or 3 if I weigh 160?

While an initial dosage be weight based, the ending dosage shouldn't be based on either. It should be based on FT3 and FT4 levels, as well as symptoms.
