Th-1 Th2 cytokines in Hypothyroidism

Dear all,
This is my first posting..
I have Hashimoto for about 3-5 years. I am taking Armour thyroid and "other" supplements , as everyone else.
Just recently I have find out that there are specific formulated supplements for TH-1 and TH-2 dominant people.
Could someone, please, tell me what ARE THEY and post more info on this subject.
I would like to know more about TH-1 and Th-2 dominance.

I am not sure if I am TH-1 or TH-2 dominant, but the green tea extract gives me more energy and makes me feel a little better :0)
I make myself a promise that I will be brand new woman by my 45! LOL
This is SUCH a struggle, you'all!

Hey Tamara, Do you have any good links about TH1 / TH2 ?  I have found that I have more problem with coffee and ice tea than I realized but am fine with green tea. With the Blood Type diet, black tea is also something I am supposed to avoid.  

I would liek to see how that all fits in with TH1 / TH2.

Do you know yet if you are TH1 or TH2? I assumed I was TH2 because my thyroid was swelling after coffee, but I've found out  through my doctor that I am actually TH1. It is important to know because foods that are good for the TH2 person will cause a flareup in the TH1 person.

I experimented with a large glass of organic green tea the other day and no reactions, so I guess my doctor was right because green tea will set off an antibody attack in a TH1 person. He says something else in the coffee was making me sick.

I take X-FLM for the TH1 dominant (most Hashis are TH1). I'm not sure what my TH2 friends take. Look over my journals. I posted a good article there by Dr. G. about TH1/TH2 dominance.
