Thanks - I will try that this week!
You are probably allergic to some things. Go gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, corn free, and soy free. Eat Paleo and then see if your symptoms go away. Eating this way for 28 days I bet you you would not be congested, you would not be dizzy, and you would not have digestive issues any more! Worked for me!
HI DD, my mom's friend was a smoker, and constantly cleared phlegm from her throat, for a few yrs. She no longer has this problem, now she has copd on oxygen. ENT can evaluate your throat, let us know what you find out.
I'm on Synthroid, other then cold/shivering, I've been feeling wonderful, now my body temps are warming back up, amazingly I've been doing well after TT surgery, and hopefully I continue to stay this way. Thanks for asking, wishing you well :)
AJW-
Yes I smoke very lightly. I actually go the whole day without one but usually smoke a couple after I get off work. I know I need to quit. Im very healthy otherwise. I run 3 miles a day and eat very healthy.
You don't have a thyroid either? How have you been feeling and what seems to make you feel better? What kind of meds are you on?
I will check with my ENT to see if he can check my throat out. Thanks!
Hi Barb-
The reason for this post is to summarize everything without everyone having to look through the each post again and was really needing my main question answered, how do I increase both my Free T4 and my Total T4 most effectively and are my side effects normal with these two being low. I guess I was affraid noone else would comment further on the other post.
I will check it now, as I believe you have. Thanks!
I think you posted all of this on another thread. It's usually easier for us if you stick to one thread vs posting the same info again.
You other thread is:

Sorry your levels are out of wack and your feelin symptoms.
My followup appt was Aug 24th, 16 weeks !!! I called clinic today, told them I don't have a thyroid, I rely on medication to survive, I shared a few other details as well, next thing I knew my appt is now July 6,.
ENT can investigate your throat for causes of your complaints. Are you a smoker? Are you around smokers? Smoke can cause excess phlegm in the throat, along with allergies, Etc....
As for medication dosing, sorry I cannot help. But you can alway's contact your physicians clinic for advice, or reschedule an appt, sometimes cancellation's come in, they can get you in sooner. Wishing you well.
