Thyroidectomy and High TSH levels

I am new to this site, I had a total thyroidectomy last OCT and I have not been right since. I started out on 125mg Levo and felt great for a few months then the panic attacks started. They lowered my meds to 90mg and then to 60mg and no panic attacks I felt great, I was taking a T4 and life was good. The. They tested my blood and TSH said 28.90 and then they raised my meds to 90 mg Armour and no T3 and I went back to ha I f panic attacks.
Now I am on 60 mg armour 3 x a week and 90 mg Armour 4 x a week and yes the panic attacks are still there but now I am having my right hand and arm go numb and then tingling in my feet and then my upper stomach tightens up so tight it feels like a large lump in my stomach.....this is a terrifying feeling and no one can figure it out! Has any one else ever e perience these weird kind of symptoms while under medicated. My memory even went crazy, I couldn't think of simple words.

I can't tell you for sure what's causing your symptoms, but I can tell you that your FT3 and FT4 are much too low.  If you felt well on T4 meds, perhaps you ought to try those again.  It sounds like your doctor is too fixated on TSH and doesn't pay enough attention to your FT3 and FT4.  You might want to go doctor shopping.

I Take the 60 whole but I do split the 90 in the morning and later afternoon,
I already had Carpel Tunnel surgery for both hands and this numbness is only one arm and one hand and then my stomach gets all tight like a muscle spasm!

If T4 was working better for you, maybe you shouldn't have switched to Armour, just adjusted your dose of T4.  Some people do better on T4, some on Armour.

Just because your TSH was 0.1, doesn't mean that you were hyper.  Were you having hyper symptoms?

Numbness can be caused by carpal tunnel syndrome, which is a symptom of hypo.  Abdominal tightness isn't typical.  Memory loss is definitely a hypo symptom.

Do you split your Armour into two half doses?

Because my Endo said my TSH was 0.1 and she said it was way to low so she kept changing it, after started messing with it the panic attacks came on and then I had to lower it to get them to stop. Well after about 8 weeks on 60 mg of levo my TSH went super high so she then switched me to Armour and we started all over again. Started at 60 still to low, went to 90 and that was to high and caused heart palpitations, so she split the dosage of 60/90 which is where I am how and I am still feeling horrible!
Would the T3 and T4 cause such weird side effects? Numbness in hand and fingers, memory loss, tightness in my abdominal?

You are very under medicated.  FT4 should be about the middle of the range, and yours is just above the bottom.  FT3 should be in the upper half to upper third of the range, and yours is near the bottom.

The symptoms have nothing to do with your TSH.  TSH causes no symptoms; it's nothing but a messenger hormone...your pituitary telling your thyroid that your thyroid hormones are too low.  Your symptoms are  caused by your too low FT3 and FT4 levels.

In your original post, you said, "...I was taking a T4 and life was good."  Why the switch to Armour then?

I am now on 60 mg Armour for three days then I go to 90 mg of Armour for 4 days, then I repeat.

Component Standard Range Your Value Flag
TSH 0.34 - 4.82 uIU/mL   my TSH is  28.90 Hthe process.

T3 Free 2.3 - 4.2 pg/mL 2.51

T4 Free 0.76 - 1.80 ng/dL 0.81

I am not sure if my panic attacks and numb right arm and hand and tight stomach are from my high TSH level or something else.
My arm only goes numb and my memory goes crazy only a few times so far but it is scaring me!!

Please post recent thyroid test results with reference ranges.  Reference ranges vary lab to lab, so they have to come from your own lab report.

Please clarify:  You were on 125 mcg levo, then you went to 90 mg Armour, then 60 mg Armour?

Armour contains both T4 and T3.

How do you take your meds?  Do you split the dose into two half doses?
