WONDERFUL ultrasound final results ....

The serial ultrasound is now completed properly.  I dropped off films from 6mos ago and the updated report states that it is a "stable 3mm hypoechoic" nodule, blah blah blah .. so they seem to agree wtih findings from 6 mos ago and took out the words "complex" hypoechoic nodule on the updated report after the radiologist compared the films.  I'm glad I picked them up and dropped them off at the place where I'll go for repeat u/sounds ev. 6 mos from now on.

YES, this is good news and great to hear the words STABLE ... and deletion of the word complex.  YES .. HAPPY WORDS!

consider yourself lucky that the diverticula have never been infected....if they ever had been you woulld know it...I am here to tell ya...! it is incredibly painful. I have a section of the desending lower bowel about 8" long that is riddled with diverticula....debris gets stuck in there frequently....and then my body works overtime to get rid of it....and if unsuccessful...an infection sets in...both are painful... so...feel lucky dear that you are asymptomatic..Kathy

yeah...I have had it done before...I have diverticular disease...so....yuck...the prep is the pits...especially if you already tend to ah..have ah...problems one way or the other in that particular area....the test.,,they dope you up for...they tried to just make me really dippy...but they had to put me completely out...better that way anyway...if it weren't for the prep and the indignity of the whole thing...it wouldn't be so bad...

I mean I had to take all these laxatives the day before...pills and liquid stuff that made me sick...made me have "dry heaves" at the wrong end...could NOT possibly be anything in left in there!...then I got a "cleansing" enema at the hospital...for heaven's sake! how ridiculous!!!!! I felt sick for a couple of days afterwards
