When to thyroid tablet, after breakfast or before
*I had been diagnosed hypothyrodism & iam taking everday a 100 Mcg tablet. Iam taking this for the past 1.5 years. Last time when i leave in Singapore the doctor advised me to take the tablet after food & after 4 months it has improved & i had stoped taking it.
But when i came to my home country i tested once again hypothyroidsm & doctor advised me take before food. Iam taking it before food for the past 1 year, but it has not improved. So i have confusion whether to take it before or after food. Pls advise me on this.

I am also on 100mcg thyroxine and was told to always take it on an empty stomach........also the unopened bottles of thyroxine should be stored in the refrigerator.
