My doctor's office submitted my refill for Levothyroxine which I had been taking for the past 13 years at the wrong dosage. I normally take 75 and when her staff submitted it, they did so at 125. This was back in November, so for the past 2 months I have been taking this almost double dosage. My skin is extremely sensitive. If you barely scratch it, it puffs up and is red and itchy all the time. I sleep terribly. I generally don't feel too well. Friday Jauary 16th, I noticed the difference in dosage and went in immediately, and she just told me that he staff made an error as now their refills are submitted via their new electronic way on laptops which is how it was done. She said for me to just stay off the pills for 1 week then resume my normal 75. I don't know what to do though. I still feel awful, and my skin is even more sensitive. Any advice.
