I'm glad the article was of some help. I have more that are similar if you want to send me a message.
Ask Dr. why TSH continues to drop if no treatment. Mention thyroiditis as above.
The antibodies will remain positive.
I had anxiety, insomnia as my TSH increased, even though it didn't go above 10. It is all relative and both hyper and hypo mess with your mind.

Hi Kitty, I always had hyper symptoms what ever my TSH was. I read Dr. Hall's article it's very intressting.I had palpitation on & off up to 10years ago.
Nuch
I see. The TSH is dropping and the t4 is rising, which is in the right direction. The antibodies are strongly positive.
Did you have the hyper type symptoms even when the TSH was 12ish?
There is something called silent or painless thyroiditis that is asscociated w/ antibodies like Hashi. It resolves in 12-18 months with a 20% chance of permanent hypothyroidism. Is is usually a hyper phase followed by hypo, though.
Hope this helps,
Kitty
Sorry the was an error in my t4 range. it was 7.1 but it should read 26
My antibodies were 804, positive above 100 IU/ML
Thank you Kitty

Your TSH continues to drop. You may want to continue monitoring the TSH level as you have been doing. It is possible for it to go back to normal if you had a temporary thyroiditis. How high were the antibodies? Also it now looks like the T4 is above range according to the reference ranges listed. I would definately ask your doctor why this is. Good call to hold off on Synthroid for now.
Good Luck
