lump on right side of my neck under jaw line

hello i cant figure out whats wrong i have a lump on the right side of my neck under my jaw lin right under the jaw hindge could this be serious its not real big but its pretty hard like a small rock

Is there any pain associated with it?

I'm 90% sure that would be a lymph node.  This doesn't have to be sinister, could just mean you are fighting an illness like the flu or a cold.
