solid mass

I received ultrasound results and need help. It showed a solid mass 2.0x1.5 and several cysts...they were labeled complex appearing. Anyone have an idea what all this may mean. My dr set me up an appointment with a surgeon and they are going to do a biopsy..I am just needing to try to understand. 2 weeks til appointment..Also my tsh levels were normal..Confused and hoping for some Help. Thanks

If solid mass has NO blood flow, it is very likely to be benign [95%]; even with blood flow AND calcifications it has 22% chance of being malignant.

Try to relax and not think the worst.....I had complex nodules that turned out fine with biopsy. The biopsy wasn't a bad experience for me and the scariest part was my mind wandering and worrying. The good news is that IF it was thyroid cancer, it is one of the easiest cancers to cure.
