tsh level

I have just had a full blood test and my TSH came out at 41 which is high apparently. The other levels were normal. They are going to do a panel test. Is this a concern as I do feel the cold all the time and have been depressed for 2 years and have anxiety.

hi janicet ,im new to all this ,dg hashimotos in febuary this year,but if i read your post correctley your tsh is 41,wow, i would be on my knees with a tsh that high.although other levels look normal this could just mean that they fall into the normal ranges does not mean that they are at the right level for you.Hope your doc is testing for antibodies,might be a possible reason for high tsh.hope you get answers soon,2yrs is along time 2 be suffering.....take care

I have had hypothyroid for almost 2 years. I believe I had it before then, but who knows. My TSH was at 5.2 and that was considered slightly high 2 years ago, so I woud say with the new paneling that 4.1 is high. Anxiety and cold is a sign of thyroid issues. Good luck!
