i have been undertreated since dx of hashi's. ft3 is at the bottom of range. my question is more like , does having hashi's/hypo make fighting infections more difficult.and in my case i could not get rid of the infection, even with heavy IV antibiotics..just have to wonder if my underactive thyroid complicated this mess i'm in now.

If you are fighting an infection, the thyroid levels will go down. It is very common, unfortunately. Even in people who have no thyroid disease, when tested can show their levels dip, when suffering an illness.
