short lh surge????

hi all just a quick quistion does anyone know if it is possible to have a very short lh surge the reason in ask is this is my 1st month of doing clomid (days 3 to 7) yesterday which was day 14 i did an opk at 8 in the morning and it was negative but at about 10 pm last night me and my partner had intercourse and noticed a lot of the egg white stretchy cm, there was no doubt that it was fertile cm, but atter we finished having intercourse i did an opk and it was negative and only about half an hour later i checked the cm again and it was watery. Im extremely confused about this and would love some advise. I just want to enfisise though the cm i felt was definitely fertile mucus. thanks for any advise you can give. baby dust to all. xx

Thanks very much 4 ur reply. Ya nearly at the end of the 2ww it always feels likes so much longer. Lol. Iv got everything crossed that this is gonna br thr montg. What is ur story. Baby dust to u. X

Hi, I've heard of short lh surges that last but a few hours.  So, it's possible that between 8 am and 10 pm you had a surge not detected by the opks.  Just a few more days of your 2ww - good luck!!
