OPK sticks

I have been using OPK sticks that come in packages of 20+ for over a year now. I have always had positive results with those sticks. With that said, I am testing now since I typically ov around this point in my cycle and the sticks are not showing any progression towards ov.  However, I have ewcm yesterday and that is a sign I have always relied on.

Anyone not have these test strips work for them but did actually ov? I am charting my bbt so I will know in a few days if I did really ov, since I know the sticks only measure the LH surge and do not tell you if you actually ov or not.

Any thoughts, insights, experiences are welcomed.

Thanks

I use them too, and sometimes I get 2, 3 positive ones, and sometimes only 1, so it is probable you just missed it. But I think they would show the progression and get darker, even if you don't get a 'truly' positive one

I have never had that happen, but I heard it is very possible to have a short LH surge before ovulating and you can sometimes miss it with the OPK. The ewcm is a good sign, so I would assume you very possibly could have missed the surge and are going to ovulate. Like you said, since you are charting your bbt you will know for sure soon. Good luck and I hope your bbt does show that you did ovulate.
