Hi. Most fertility specialists recommend three consecutive cycles of iui prior to proceeding to ivf. Personally, In conjunction with clomid, hcg, and progesterone, I've noticed an increase in lining thickness and a healthy egg count with each iui treatment. I'm hoping this iui will be successful. An older friend of mine did an entire year of iui before advancing to ivf. Give the iui treatment some time and ask your doctor to pair it with fertility prescriptions if that hasn't occurred. Good luck!!

I think that if you've been trying actively for 3.5 years and haven't been able to conceive then IVF could be the way to go. I don't think age is a factor really.
How are your cycles? Have you had your husband's sperm count tested?

You can try it.
What else have you been trying or going through besides IUI?
Try and get some extra vitamin B in your system...I hear that helps SO many people!
