you need to bring ur baby to the dr right away. A baby should not run a high fever for more than 48 hours or it can do damage to the brain. Have you been giving tylenol and ibuprophen. You dose tylenol and ibuprophen at the same time and every 4 hours after the first dose give tylenol and every six hours after first dose give ibuprophen. Do this for 24 hours. See if fever comes back. If so do it for another 24 hours. If fever still returns bring to doctor immediately. The baby may need antibiotics. Hope this helps

I am not a dr but is it possible your toddler is teething. I just had custody of a toddler and when his back teeth were coming in he would start rubbing his cheeks against stuff, had a loss of appetite, cranky, had a high fever and clingy then started rubbing and pulling his ears. When I took him to the dr he had a double ear infection plus a sore throat. He was put on antibiotics but it still took about a week for him to get back to being into everything. He also cut 5 teeth. Freaked me out to say the least lol. The dr said that she thought the ear infection caused the sore throat because of the drainage and that the ear infection was more than likely due to the teeth. I hope yours is better soon I hate when little ones are sick. Best wishes, Sissie
