Maybe an STD, but which?

Well, basically it started a few days ago with a bit of itching and sore, swollen labia. I could see little fine bumps around my clitoral area and it felt like where the the labia meet at the top was cracked. It hurt a bit with contact and certain movement. the area around my anus started getting irritated also and felt like the skin was cracked. I can see white, flaky skin like eczema but i scratched off some last night which only irritated it more. Today, parts of that are is shiny with little bumps. i use a topical anesthtic to control he itching. it burns on application then works for a while. very uncomfortable. I cannot take time off to see the doctor as yet so i am planning to do so this weekend. I am wondering if I have herpes.

If the lesions are clustered and pus filled then yes it could potentially be herpes.  If the sores break open or start to ooze that would be another tell tale sign of Herpes.  Honestly without an examination/blood test there are few ways to be 100% certain.  Try soaking in some Epsom salt for 10 min to deal with irritation.  Or you could do the same with about 10-20 drops of tea tree oil.
