Always feel sick

I feel like I am going crazy. I never feel well but when I go to the doctor or the hospital, they never wind up finding anything major wrong with me. I get really bad pains in the back of my head, pain in my neck for a week now, my arm goes numb and pain in my leg. When I read about my symptoms it says some of these are signs of a stroke but when I go to the doctor, he never finds anything wrong. I really am worried and don't know what to do anymore. I turned forty this year, so not so young, but not so old either to always feel sick everyday. My doctor is a very good doctor so please no advice on getting a new one. Please give me your advice or opinion I am sitting here in tears and don't know where to turn....

Hello, everyday of my life I feel sick its so horrible I can't go out far or go on holiday with my friends cause I always feel ill. And I have a phobia of being sick and I get myself in such a state I end up having a panic attack. I'm addicted to paracetamol and peptopismol cause of this. Just wanted to know if there's anything else I can do?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Was a MRI of the cervical spine done? If not, then this should be done to rule out nerve compression. Since one arm goes numb, dopplars studies should be done to rule out vascular causes like clots. In which case, the leg pain could either be due to a vascular cause or nerve compression lower down.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

It sounds like you could have Fibromyalgia.  Maybe ask to see a Reumatologist.

This is what I have and I have had it since I was 17yrs old but because its only been a week for you I am wondering if you have pinched a nerve somewhere.

i realy feel for you, the only suggestion i can give you is to keep on going back to see your dr every time it happens, also keep a daily diary so you can take this to the dr's with you, as we all know we forget things when we get there, it sounds like a circulation problem to me.

oh I am sorry its so frustrating isnt it to feel so unwell and not know whats happening, did they do any tests on you, blood sugar, thyroid , anything else .It could be flu in which case it will subside and you feel okay again.40 ...wow your life is just starting ,the exciting bits come after 40 ..you are possibly run down and a good supplement with anti oxidents may help you .Let us know how you are feeling soon and good luck
