One reason your feet get cold might be because the blood vessels constrict. One type of drug that is sometimes used to counteract that is a "calcium channel blocker".
A natural calcium channel blocker is magnesium. That can be taken as in a supplement or in food. But on the other hand, magnesium might make your blood pressure go even lower. It could be disastrous if you pass out and bang your head.
Or too much magnesium at once can act as a laxative. Nothing is simple.
As always, check with doctor before taking anything.
Hi, your walking probably helps to keep things from getting worse over the years, so bravo to you on doing that. But it might be a bad idea on very hot days, since heat exposure can make autoimmune conditions worse. So walking very early morning can be good.

The prescriptions that a doctor gives for your Mixed Connective Tissue Disease probably won't help with the temperature problems, so unfortunately all you can do is the practical things like the heating pad when needed.
- You can try something like Sominex to help you sleep, that's the same drug as Benadryl.
- Getting enough water and salt might help get your blood pressure a little higher. Avoid caffeine which is a diuretic.
- You can try identifying if any "trigger" makes your temperature go wacky. It's possible, but not likely, that some foods do.
Maybe there's some folk remedy out there somewhere that can help. Good luck to you.
