Bruising

My mom is on 80mg of baby aspirin per day.  She ahs been taking them for quite a while.  She bruises very easily however so she stopped taking them (I gave her ****) and the bruising went away.  The doctor sais that it can happen.  But he didn't really check into more than that.

Is it normal that  bruising can occur when you taking a blood thiner like baby aspirin?
