Burning, bulging and pain in viens

For about 9 months now my wife has been suffering from bulging, burning and pain if her viens. This all came out of nowhere, fine one day then bulging started next day. She was taking a bunch of oregano oil to try a rid and prevent colds. We believe that the oil has caused something toxic or something. She has had multiple test done here in Canada with nothing. Dr's can't find anything so they brush it off as nothing is wrong. She is a strong and healthy women till this, she  is not one to complain. But this has her beat, she is on short term disability now. We are desperate and looking for help or if anyone has had something similar. We are sending the oil to the states today to have it tested which is costing us a arm and leg. Hopefully someone can help. Thanx

Yes the viens actually stick out. They never have, then all of a sudden one day they are bulging everywhere. Her feet and hand will go red when she stands for a short period and arms hang. She says that it feels like to much blood and it's pooling. Our 2 young children seem to be having more visible viens and some are bulging to. They had a little oil to, that's why we believe the oil has done something. 3 of them showing the same symptoms just not to the same level. Worst part is the Dr's are brushing it off. She had tons of test that come back normal so they say nothing is wrong. It's obvious that's something is wrong. Thanx for response

Thanx. Ya the veins are  physically protruding. She never had them bulging out before, then one day they started. Even up in thighs. She says it feels like she has to much blood and its pooling up. Her hands and feet will go red when standing or arms hanging. Are 2 young children seem to have more visible and protruding viens to. They had little bit of the oil, worst part is the Dr's here are just ignoring. There just brushing it off and we can't find help. She has had tons of test done but since they come back normal they say nothing is wrong. But there is. Thanx again

When you say bulging, does she mean she feels the veins are bulging or that they really are visibly bulging more than before?  The reason I ask is that it sounds like she has become oversensitive to physical sensations that she may not have felt before.  We don't normally feel our veins and how they are working.  It may be that she can now feel what is going on.  This would suggest some kind of oversensitisation.

Has she got other symptoms?

Hopefully, you will hear from experts on oregano but having anything in large quantites is not a good idea.

I am not an expert in anything medical and can only suggest things to look at.  You may wan to look at 'central sensitisation', in case that could be the issue.  I hope she feels better soon because it is obviously distressing for both of you.
