Burning sensation in thigh, no pain, no swelling. Happens during night only.

Age 53, male, recent EKG shows normal (3 days ago). Overweight, dealing with possible pancreatic issue and unable to work due to the pain, lightheaded feeling, dizziness. Pain is right side, usually 24/7 and often feels like a gallbladder attack. I I am unable to keep food down and everything I eat hurts.

The last two nights I've woke up around 5pm with a burning sensation in my outer thigh.

No swelling, no pain, just feels like my  skin is  on fire.

My gallbladder was removed in 2008, I wear loose clothes as a matter of choice, I cannot stand tight clothing.

My lever function tests are normal, endoscopy shows no gerd nor hiatel hernia.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There are two issues you are having probably. One is either an abnormal liver function or gall bladder problem or hiatal hernia or severe GERD. Hence it is important you get your liver and gall bladder function assessed.
The thigh pain could be due to superficial nerve compression (lateral femoral cutaneous nerve), that comes from the hip area and gets pinched. This condition is called meralgia paresthetica and is often due to weight gain or wearing tight clothes and belts. Losing some weight or wearing loose clothes and belts often helps relieve the pain/numbness/tingling. Also injection of lignocaine (anesthetic agent) at the site helps. In your case you can apply a pain reliever at the site.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Hope this helps. Take care!
