I am a 42 year old, moderate smoker. I am in a pretty stressful point of my life.... expatriated the USA, scrambling to find a place I am happy. I have had a great deal of dental problems and I am in the process of getting a full denture. (been getting a few teeth pulled every few weeks.
For the past week or so, I have had a chronic headache (have not had any extractions in almost two months).... sometimes so bad that I can not even move, and laying down is worse. The pain is so severe sometimes I get nauseous. Yesterday, I began to develop pressure in my chest... as if someone is sitting on it. Occasionally the intensity increases and it really hurts.
I am extremely phobic of doctors and dentists, and being in a foreign country where I don't speak fluent, makes the apprehension that much worse.
I have taken aspirin to see if it reduces the pressure, and it has no noticeable effect.
I don't have health insurance, so I don't want to go through a million tests and become totally indebted in a foreign country....
I am not asking for a diagnosis.... but more an opinion on what could be going on and what diagnostic tests can be done at a reasonable price.
