Quite frequently throughout the day for last severl weeks I experience a crawling stringy feeling over my face (like walking into spiders web) then shivers doen my spine. I am not cold. Generally feeling not great, tired most of time, not how I normally feel in this fine weather.
Last time I felt like this I had a bacterial infection that took 3 rounds of antiobiotics to clear. Of course the clinicians I saw knew better than to believe I had an infection from the outset and prescribe anl ABX, no they waited until I had it for 6 weeks and it went systemic.
I have recently had dental treatment due to reflux acid damage. Broke so using the dental school (3rd year student) Oct to end of Jan 6 appointments all for total of scale and polish, extraction of a viable tooth and check up. Not even a 180deg X-Ray. Removal of old crown end Jan, temporary crown fitted and replaced with a new one last week, six weeks later. No ABX. Mouth has felt skanky since they started Tx despite good oral hygeine. Wondered if I might have a bacterial infection from the treatment, though I would have though any lymph movement would be unilateral side of the dental Tx. Unilateral nodes up
Is a 6 week wait for a replacement crown excessive?
Wouldn't it be normal to Rx an antibiotic during such treatment? Asked the dentist if crown cement had becteriosatat/cide and she said it hadn;t.
Crown that came off had something in it of bacteriostatic/cidic anti-inflammatory nature incorporated (it smelled of cloves).
Suspect bacterial infection? (guess I've answered my own question)
