Chronic Ear Fluid

Hi,
currently am getting a chronic problem with ear fluid that does not drain. It feels like it goes from my left ear to back of head. When it gets really bad, I get vertigo and feel like I'm sideways or something.
Any ideas aside from allergies or how to treat this. Its affecting me daily.
p.s. I'm hypersensitive to allergy meds

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
How are you now?
Fluid in middle ear is often accompanied by hearing loss and pain and is more common in children. Adults usually have outer ear infections and accumulation of wax in the ear canal. This gives a feeling of fluid in the ear. Please visit your ENT at the earliest to get a diagnosis and treatment. These outer canal infections or wax deposition may not be due to allergy, so you need not worry about anti allergic medications not suiting you.
Please refer to this link that gives causes and treatment of fluid in ear for general public: http://www.dizziness-and-balance.com/disorders/unilat/otitis.html It is just for your information. Please consult your ENT at the earliest. It will be wise not to ignore such symptoms.
Let me know what your doctors say. If you need more help, please feel free to contact. I’ll be happy to answer your queries. Please keep me posted.

I have the same symptoms as you and can't take meds.  Hard to even drive.  I got tested and dust turned out to be my biggie.  I live in a pasture type area and late summer mowing, bush hogging tears me up i guess because it is so dry and dusty.  Have noticed also that when weather/pressure changes i get the woozy dizzy thing.  Most Drs blow over it like its not real but one did listen few years back and recommended 2mg valium.  It levels the fluid and or feeling inside.  For me it worked just hard to get other Drs to give this now.  Snorting up warm salt water helps and no side effects like nose sprays.
