Constant SEVERE headaches for almost a year and no answers???

Hi, I've been having a constant severe headache for almost a year now.  The pain NEVER goes away and it's so severe that it gets unbearable at times.  I've been to so many doctors and nobody can figure it out.  I went to my regular dr almost every other week.  They put me on so many different medications and none of them helped.  Finally I begged for them to do some type of scan so they gave me a CT scan and saw my sinus' were swollen.  They said I had a sinus infection.  I was on 3 different antibiotics, one after another and that didn't work.  So I had sinus surgery that didn't work either.
So I went to a neurologist who tells me it's just migraines or tension headaches.  Put me on a LOT of different headache medications.  Don't really work too well.  They're still there.
So I went to a chiropractor, but only went twice because he scared me with the whole neck cracking thing.  Don't really know if that would have worked or not.  Too scared.
So, I've been to and ENT doc, neurologist, chiropractor and can't find any answers.
I've also had chest pain ( by my heart ) that's really starting to scare me....I've had so many other symptoms but don't know if they're all related or not.
I saw this show and it was a lady who had EVERY SINGLE symptom I had and she ended up having Cranial Nerve Schwannoma...don't know if that's what I got or not, but it sure scared me.  (It's a tumor on the brain)

I have two little boys who need my energy and don't know where else to turn now.  Can somebody please help me or have any advice????

Thanks a million : )

You may be able to reduce the headaches by taking supplemental magnesium.

Google headache magnesium, to read many articles about this.
Example:  So just what is the magnesium migraines connection?

I hope this will help you.

If the above doesn't work do try finding a good massage therapist.  They can do a lot to help relax the muscles that can feed pain into the head.  Acupuncture is also a good solution.  In the mean time try putting ice packs on your head.  They can really help to lower the pain.  Also have your dentist check to see if you might have problems with your TMJ joint.  Good luck.

Hello,

How are you?

Cranial nerve schwanomma are neoplasms or tumors that arise from the nerve sheath of a cranial nerve and consist of Schwann cells in a collagenous matrix. Typically, presenting symptoms of schwannomas are based on the affected nerve.MRI is the most confirmatory test for diagnosing these schwanommas which can sometimes not present on CT even.

Treatment will depend upon the cranial nerve involved and the extent of involvement. You can gain more information about these schwanommas from the following link: http://www.emedicine.com/RADIO/topic7.htm

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional queries
