Cracking Knees

I am 15 years old and when I bend my knees they often make a clicking/cracking sound, they also creak but rarely and only ever very slightly. It does not happen when I only bend them partialy, e.g. walking up stairs etc... but it happens almost every time when I bend them much more than that. There is no pain and it is not seriously afecting my life at all but it is rather annoying and I would like to know if it is something I should be concerned about and possibly if there is a way to eliminate the problem.

I thought that too, but I thought it'd be a good idea to have a quick search around on here before going to the trouble of getting an x-ray. Thank you very much for the response.

first of all. i dont think it is anything.i played alot of sports in my life and i hear clicks and i can pop most of my joints. you could have your doctor take an xray. to make sure nothing is loose or wrong. you might have to deal with it later in life. so go get it checked buddy. youll most likely be 100%.good luck
