Diagnosed with HYPERthyroid after gaining ridiculous amounts of weight.

I have been diagnosed with Hyperthyroid, Thyroiditis to be specific. After all the thyroid related tests and a normal ultrasound, scintigraphy revealed I have Thyroiditis. Doctor wants to put me on meds next month but I am worried because I have zero hyperthyroid symptoms. I have gained 25kgs (55lbs) in less than three months. Note that I work out three times a week (not anymore for the last month since I can't even lift myself up anymore) and there has not been any change to my diet. I am cold basically all the time, I have tiredness, dizziness, memory problems, long sleep cycles, chipped nails, hair falling out, muscle weakness etc. So none of the Hyper symptoms and all of the hypo symptoms. I have been tested for B12 and Iron, Ferritin etc all normal and my Thyroid results are below:
TSH 0.056 Ref: 0.25 - 4.55 uIU/mL
Free T3 4.85 Ref: 2.5-4.37 pg/mL
Free T4 0.86 Ref: 0.61-1.12 ng/dL
Anti -TPO 114.8 Ref: 0-9 IU/mL
Anti TG 1.3 Ref: 0-4 IU/mL

Can any endo-people have a look and shed a light on what I am going through?

Hello~It would seem to me that the reason your blood work should a hyper-thyroid is due to the fact that your thyroid is actually low but your system is pulling out all stops and trying to get the correct amount of thyroid in your system. It is hard to explain, but basically, due to being low, your body is making more to compensate. I would ask for another test, plus, do one at home, this involves using a basal thermometer. You shake it down before bed, when you wake up, do not move at all except to place the thermometer under your arm, leave it there for 10 minutes, the readings should be around 98.6 to 98.7, if it is under, you are definitely LOW thyroid.

I hope this helps and you find a doctor that will be of more help as well.
