Hi,

I am glad that you posted here.

The weight loss that you have indicated here amounts to approx 15% weight loss in a period of about 5 months. This is very significant and this may not be normal.

You have described in your post that you have not been sick or unwell. However, looking at the degree of unintentional weight loss here, it seems unlikely that you may have reached this state without a pathology.

I would be concerned about the following disorders in your case: Diabetes Mellitus, Hyperthyroidism, eating disorders, food fads, hormonal disorders, abdominal disorders etc.,

each of these is a relatively distinct disorder and may require examination and investigation to eliminate.

While Diabetes and hyperthyroidism are endocrinal disorders, eating disorders and food fads is noticed in young females, who may have inclination to have a particular type of food.

I think you may write back to us if you think that you may have any of these. You should also get a medical opinion from a doctor who can examine and perhaps then order some tests for you.

Hope this helped.
