Extreme abdominal pain/cramping

For the last 2 weeks I have been having horrible abdominal cramping.  That's the only thing I can describe it as.  The strange thing is eating resolves the pain.  So does iced coffee, alcohol, and sometimes motrin.  All my blood work has come back normal.  I had gastric bypass surgery in Nov. and because I am not vomiting or running a fever, my surgeon does not think it has anything to do with the surgery.  I have no problem with bodily functions.  The pain usually starts with the muscles that run along the ribs.  Then it seems to move to the stomach and intestines. (or at least that is how it feels)  All I know is that it's very painfull and the dr.'s have no clue what it is.  HELP!!!

do you have your gallbladder or did they take it out when doing the surgery?

Nope, still have it.  Although the pain goes away whenever I eat and is in the frontal portion of my abdomen.  At times the cramping gets so bad that it does radiate to my back.
