FINALLY found out the answer

Hi, I know this is years later, but we finally figured out what was wrong with my child. She is thirteen now and has suffered from these symptoms for years: nausea and dizziness in the middle of the night, vomiting, light sensitivity, etc.: she was finally diagnosed with cyclic vomiting syndrome which is a form of abdominal migraine. Because she was not having extreme headaches with it, no one thought of migraines until much later. There is nothing the doctors can do for her other than treat the symptoms, but it was such a relief to finally figure out what was wrong with her. Migraines run in our family, so we will be keeping an eye on her in the future.

Heard this for the first time, abdominal migraine. I am sure you could also keep an eye on the foods that suit her or do not elevate her symptoms. Best of Luck!
