Are Doctors no good?

Why is it that doctors are not able to diagnosed the problems we have?  Doctors send you from doctor to doctor with no resolution of your problem.  If they can not find a problem they say it is stress, anxiety or some other mental problem.  I am going through so much symptoms and that is the answer I am getting.  My mother passed away from a sudden heart attack a few years ago, she also had breast cancer.  No doctor ever diagnosed that she was having heart problems, regardless of every symptom she had.  I have severe arthritis, sometimes chest pain, shortness of breath, numbness on my face, when I do any type of activity that I sweat a little I suddenly feel weak, off balance and a tingling sensation goes through my whole body.  Doctors are not able to find the problem.  I am a single older women with a 13 year old child and I am extremely worried.  Don't know what else to do, My only resolution is to have faith in God.

Don't give up on all doctors....I know how frustrating it can be bouncing from doctor to doctor to hear the same thing...that they just don't know. But in the end hopefully you will find someone with answers. I doctor hopped for 8 years before I finally found someone who knew what they were talking about, and when I got my diagnosis it was painfully obvious and I couldn't believe that no one had realized what was wrong before. I spent a lot of time being angry with all of the doctors I had seen previously for making me go through all of that but in the end it was a blessing. I found an amazing doctor who has been by my side for the past 3 years. Good luck and keep the faith.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother, and about the symptoms you are suffering from :(

I think that medical systems are pretty congested. I've experienced the same sort of hot-potato patient treatment. I do respect these doctors, but I wish it was easier to spot certain problems from the start.

I'm not a doctor, and I can't speak for them to explain the issue, but maybe a huge amount of people who come to them have these more common conditions. If they see some of these symptoms in other patients, maybe it's considered wise to start investigating the possibility of those first, before they start diagnosing very specific, and possibly severe conditions, especially if the common symptoms are present. I suppose it's easier to start ruling the more common ones out first.

I'm not sure how this problem could be fixed in the future, but in the meantime, we might as well do all we can, such as being as descriptive as we can about our issues, and stressing the overwhelming effect is has on us. Eventually they have to help us, right? I just hope so.

And of course your faith will always be there for you :)

I really hope this all improves for you. I wish you the very best.

"God heals and the doctor takes the fees"-Benjamin franklin.
This is in lighter vein but then now there is so much of vast information that no doctor is the jack of all.We look at the trees and miss the forest!
Do check in for B12 deficiency which can cause all the symptoms you mentioned.
Cheers!
