HELP! 8 months of daily malaise, chest pain, muscle spasms and more

OK I apologize this is going to be a long post. Please read before responding. My husband has been feeling really bad for 8 months. He has daily episodes, usually in the evening but can really be anytime. Never ate to healthy but always seemed healthy, pretty athletic. No medical issues previous to this, other then unexplained bleeding with stool for many years.
He gets extreme malaise, chest pain (not heart, in the xiphoid area), his stomach muscles twitch very strong, dizziness, left side of chest feels numb, shortness of breath, the chest bone in center makes a pop or crack noise when moving. A lot of doctors say its anxiety but it isn't. This started abruptly 8 months ago, not life changes, no traumatic incidents. Tried all types of anxiety/depression meds and been to therapy all with no help, although he and I believe its not anxiety and something is wrong.
So he has been to a cardiologist, had ekg, echo and stress, all perfectly fine. He had a very small nodule in one lung (5mm). They watched and it didn't grow. There is diabetes in his family but he was checked and checked his blood sugar and its ok. When this first started he lost 20lbs, slept a lot and had stomach issues. He went to the GI doctor, they did a colonoscopy and a endoscopy. They found a small duodenal ulcer. He stopped drinking and smoking and started eating healthier and taking Pepcid and Prilosec. He can feel the ulcer and it wasn't going away. Later he found out he had a pathogenic parasite called Entomoeba Histolytica. He was treated and some of his symptoms went away (like gained weight, stomach issues better, eyes clearer, rash went away). This was about 3 months ago. We were hoping that would be the issue and fx everything but it hasn't.
He still feels horrible every ingle day. He was tested for celiac and is fine. Tested for pheocromocytoma and is fine, Had a nueroligical test. So many things I cant think of, but no one is finding anything. What else should we be looking for? Thank you

His diminished ability to absorb and utilize what the Functional medicine doctor prescribed, means it will take longer for results, so here's where the diet and demulcent herbs will help heal the damaged and inflamed internal tissues. Perhaps transdermal aloe vera gel of highest quality possible, to be applied on his abdominal region, will work in synergy with oral herbals, for improved efficiency.
An anti-parasitic diet to my opinion is necessary for a successful parasite treatment.
Perhaps discuss this  with the Functional medicine doctor to custom tailor a suitable diet for your husband which will help speed up the recovery process.
I would definitely avoid sugar, white flour, alcohol, refined carbs and consume fiber-rich foods.
Best wishes,
Niko

It's not so easy to eradicate E Histolytica, which takes its 2nd part of its name from histolysis which means tissue breakdown. Obviously it has infiltrated his intestinal & gut mucosa causing damage to internal tissues manifesting as ulceration.
There are E Histolytica strains which are next to impossible detect and also the fact that as Amoebas, they are polymorphic, so he  may need persistent treatment in light also of their likely presence in cysts which need a different antibiotic that can act inside the cyst.
However, intestinal permeability is very suspect, because of the antibiotic treatment and the pathogenesis itself.
So if this is indeed going on, then only a very comprehensive holistic treatment will work well for him:
A very strict anti-parasitic protocol, which is very similar to an anti-candida protocol (he may also have candida)
probiotics, parasite cleanse, very low carb diet (no sugars, yeasts, alcohol, etc) and taking demulcent herbs (which can soothe and protect irritated or inflamed internal tissue).
At this point, his ability to properly digest, absorb and
assimilate essential nutrients and vitamins for normal functioning, is questionable.
Ignoring all this could  potentially  have many serious consequences.
I hope this helps, however, please note that my comments and suggestions are not intended to replace
medical advice.
Best wishes,
Niko

Thank you Niko. We were working with a functional medicine doctor that did prescribe a herbal parasite cleanse and probiotics. However he didn't have my husband change his diet. And he told my husband to take the pills on an empty stomach but he didn't so I don't know if that compromised it from working as well.
